Your time has come to enter the Hitman’s world. A world where you trust no-one but yourself, a player in a deadly game, a warrior on a battlefield most people don’t even know exists.

This slick 3rd person action-adventure game presents a mix of stealth and combat. As the Hitman you must move without sound, kill without emotion, and disappear without trace. There are many ways to finish a mission and it is up to you to find the best, most silent one. At your disposal is an impressive arsenal of weapons and gadgets available for purchase between missions. Carry out your ‘hits’ effectively and a story of greed, power, and jealousy will start to unfold, in addition to a considerable amount of blood money.

Part masterpiece part tedium

One of the most unique games to ever be released. At the time or since, only the sequels could be compared. The social stealth sections are very good. The shooting and gunfight sections are bad. This makes a game of 5 great missions and 7 mediocre missions. Still great.

The beginning of a promising franchise

I can understand why people liked the game when it came out, it already had really cool mechanics and good ideas but it just feels boring as someone who plays it for the first time in 2025. Before playing it I finished Deus Ex with came out the same year and it really feels like this Hitman game came out 10 years earlier in comparison

Brutally difficult

clear to see all the ground work being laid for the series and there is an impressive amount of detail and freedom in playstyle- but a few of these levels are absolutely unforgiving and impossible to parse what exacdtly went wrong. Fun, if you're willing to put up with the challenge.

Fun But Dated

This Game is like replaying an old 3d gta game eg. Gta 3 or VC. Fun but the lack of a checkpoint system and certain missions and sections are very tough.
