Fun Fast Paced Grand Strategy Game

For HOMMlike game this is incredibly fun autobattler, although you do have some control over their movement you can make them retreat, charge, group or reposition them but most of the time they will be doing their own thing. You have spells you can cast while the battles are real time the rest of the game is turn-based. I recommend playing on easier difficulty and work your way up. With a lot of content regarding factions and units etc it is a bit goofy but a great game.

streamlined, but with depth

If you enjoy the classic HOMM experience and don't mind an auto-battler-type experience, you will likely get your money's worth. My only gripe so far is that I don't believe there's any way to disable autosave and you only get 3 save slots for some reason.
