Good game, just needs online multiplayer
Love this game, it feels a lot like Heroes of Might and Magic 5 if it was also partially an RTS, though like the title says, it would be nice to have online multiplayer that doesn't require using 3rd party apps in order to get it all working. In addition I wish that there was lore for the game beyond what we have. I could have sworn that there were biographies on the characters but unfortuantely I could find nothing. FInally I think it would seriously benefit from having a campaign to play through at some point in the future if that was ever an option. Beyond those three points however, great stuff.

Unfortunately unplayable
I've been wanting to jump into this for some time and finally got it for free on GOG. Unfortunately I'm unable to play the game at all. It always launches in a way too big resolution in windows mode, meaning I can't access any options menu to fix it. Playing on Windows 11 in 2560x1440.

The HoMM we need
It's a different game. It has totally changed pace. Music isn't nearly as good. Picture detail not as much. But it captured the most important aspect - the spirit of HoMM. And on top of that, the fast-paced nature is better suited for constrained time that we have. Beautiful game!
