Heroes of Might&Magic 4 ; best HoMM game

Story : text-based ; the writing reads like good fantasy novels. Feels super good, text-based though. The soundtrack (which is great), graphisms and sfx make the game a convincing fantasy setting. Gameplay : A good turn-based game, only combat matter though, ressource management matters but it's not the focal point. Assembling an army and leveling the heroes is. The heroes and their magic and abilities is what makes this game interesting, and making your hero grow accross campaigns mission feels super rewarding. The actual combat highly reward creative use of the spells you have access to.
