Heroes of Might and Magic® 4: Complete

There really isn't much to add to what the other reviewers here have said. This is not a bad game, but it is the weakest part in the series. So many gameplay bits are unfinished or redundant, the graphics are extremely hit and miss... but the campaigns are very well done, caravans and fighting heroes were a great idea and the way the heroes gain their class is very nice and encourages experiments. When you have played ore HOMM3 than you can stand, try this. Not as good, but still worth your money.

It has some deep flaws in gameplay design balanced by some neat features you can't find in any other HOMM game. The best music in the series, though!

I love this game for the best soundtrack I started the story from the Heroes of Might and Magic universe from part IV. +: An extensive system of heroes classes Soundtrack Fog of war - you can't see enemy if you lose control of the area that previously belonged to your kingdom In my opinion better graphics effects than older version. Magic skills, many spell (diffrent skills but same effects) -: very good Heroes = one person army U can't upgrade units stupid SI

Simply best game of the whole serie

I am quite big fan of HOMAM 3 and 2, never played 1 and the new titles (5,6,7) were just too... strange for me to handle. But as for HOMAM 4, I am going to pin out some points: - graphics are really nice, also sound - some ideas are really coll, e.g. caravans, making heroes to join battle (however, at some point they'll become just too strong and having classic army becomes useless...), skills and spell are fine - and some ideas are really bad... e.g. fighting system is awful, idea to ban units in case you choose another (pikeman or balistas). For me, this was very big issue. Also I had very hard time to move my heroes around the map; often clicking on place I didn't want to go, forcing me to go in circles just to pick up some small resource. And map design was also bad. I will generally take twice much time to move hero around and finish quest than in HOMAM3 and difficulty was very imbalanced as well. Maybe I had too much expectations for the sequel. It was a good try, but not a success.
