Long story short. I discovered Heroes of Might and Magic series 25 years ago. And since then I play it all the time. Heroes 2 took my heart, Heroes 1 keeps me hooked from time to time and Heroes 4 still tempts me. But Heroes 3 keeps me for the longest time ever game has. With its replayability, hot seat, one more turn effect and still live community that game is timeless. Show it to your wife/husband/girlfriend/boyfriend/children/grandparents and you will be playing soon even more. Don't forget about HD mod (high res support and interface improvements) and the Horn of the Abyss mod (new content like: fractions, creatures, artifacts, campaigns, mechanics and more on the developers' level of quality).

When my mom bought me this game when i was 5 years old back in the year 2000 i never thought i'd still be playing this game for almost every other week for 23 years!?! But the game is really that good so even after 23 years of playing i still haven't gotten tired of it. So with that said do yourself a favor and buy the game you won't regret it!

If you have seen this one on steam. Dont get it 1: Not DRM Free 2: The HD version isnt so good, the grid looks off in battle. And the overall changes arent that good. Overall this GOG that comes from original PC CD version of this game is the best version hands down! Fun multiplayer with friends and a overall interesting campaign. The best game in the series and one of the best games ever made!
