Murder, treachery, resurrection, savage battles and ultimately-freedom!

When Erathia's King Gryphonheart is murdered by traitors he is resurrected as an undead warlord who leads a ruthless invasion of his former Kingdom. Little resistance is met until his daughter Catherine, Queen of Enroth, returns to her homeland commanding an army of elite Enrothian warriors. Meanwhile the Necromancers raise large hordes of undead and advance towards the Erathian capitol. Queen Catherine receives the aid of her father's survived generals and embarks on a crusade to reclaim her lost land.

You control the greatest heroes and fiercest creatures in a conflict of epic proportions, as Cathereine fights to restore her family's rightful reign, uncover her father's killers and free him from the dark prison of his undead body!

This is a must have for every Might and Magic series fan!

Best game in the world

I've played this game since I was 9 years old, when it first came out. Love coming back to a great custom map every now and then, or just a random map. I play with era 3 mods to keep things fresh. The atmosphere is enchanting and draws you into the game completely. Love this game so much!!!

Wonderful

A great feat of 90s gaming. Coming from a background of only playing modern games, this one has aged like fine wine. I'm only sad I hadn't found it sooner. Also don't be like me, read the manual and follow the tutorial as soon as you boot up the game.

An absolutely timeless Masterpiece !

I've been playing this game for about 25 years now; graphics (assuming the free HD mod), music and gameplay still hold up; there is tons of community support and online multi-player action and with extensive - and more actively developed than ever - mods like Wake of Gods (WoG) and Horn of the Abyss (HotA), the gameplay options, replayability and strategic depth still provide endless amounts of fun in 2024. This game is so addictive & immersive it should have an 18+ rating !
