Heroes of Might and Magic® 3: Complete

My older brother taught me the game a few years ago and it was awesome! There's not a lot of games that I'll come back to but today, I'm buying this one. I'd recommend this game to anyone. It's easy enough to play so the kids can get into it but has a difficulty changing option so you can have a very challenging game.

This game is the reason I am on this website. I think this should be my 3rd and final time buying this game. HOMM3 is the best of the series (I have played 2 through 5). This is a turn-based strategy where you build up your cities to make armies to raid opponents, explore the map, and take over mines. Fairly simple to learn and continues to be fun through interesting scenarios and maps.

I first discovered this games through the ancient entities called K-CD's, which was basically cd's with demo's on them. I played the shit out of that 7 turns long demo! Then, a few years later, one of my friends got the game, and we played for hours. And unlike most games I played back in the days, This is still just as good!

I LOVED this game as a kid. I wasn't very good at it, but as an adult, I've figured it out. I joined GOG just to get this game as it was a steal at $5. Seriously, if you have never played this game, it is one of the all-time greats.

This is the best version. avoid the BS "HD" version from ubisoft's shop. No DRM and "play" CDs to deal with. Originally if you bought the CD version AND you want to play it without inserting the CD everytime, you would need to spend a few hours decrypting the DRM in the CD and making an ISO out of it. there's no "NoCD" patch for the original HOMM3 Complete. The other alternative was to just pirate the ISO, which kinda defeats the purpose of installing it from the real CD to begin with.
