Heroes of Might and Magic® 3: Complete

I just reviewed Heroes of Might and Magic 2 and I love it so much. I love Heroes of Might and Magic 3 even more. I don't know how many hours, days and weeks I spent playing this game and its expansions. Most of the campaigns were so much fun (except swamp one its some levels were real tiring). Its sad that the following Heroes games were never as good as this one. Don't miss this one. If you have this game and Heroes of Might and Magic 2 you have the best games both in Heroes franchise and turn based strategy genre.

I got HOMM when it came out. Then the expansions. I loved it then. I love it now. There are over a hundred games in my account. There are about six I come back to play again and again. This is one of those. The graphics are dated, but not terrible. The learning curve is not shallow, but the interactions between the factions make this game very cool. Thank you GOG for bringing one of my faves back.

Saw on Steam that Heroes III HD is available, but reviews there recommended rather to get HD and HOTA modes through GOG. Some older games are only still good if you're wearing nastalgia goggles. This one is still a legitimately solid game. If turn-based strategy is your thing, this one has a lot to offer.

It has an option for random generated maps, so the replayability is pretty high.
