Heroes of Might and Magic® 3: Complete

I have been struggling to run HOMM3 on Mac, installed the Wineskin but had troubles installing HOMM3 in a wrapper that I created. So, I did some more online research and found the Porting kit - http://portingkit.com/en/ a free app that helped me set up HOMM3 in 10 minutes. I also updated HOMM3 with the HD patch. When you open the Porting kit Library, right click on Heroes 3 icon and select "install mod/patch", the installer will guide you through the rest. So, everything is set up and I am back in the game. YESSSSS!

This game, the pinnacle of the Heroes series (with HoMM 2 taking the silver medal) is by far one of the best games every created not just in our Solar system, but in the observable Universe. You've read it right, the game is almost 20 years old and in 2018 there were fan made expansions of gargantuan proportions. Google it, download those things, too! Hint: Horn of the Abyss... Yes... Pirates! When an old and "outdated" game is played by casual gamers, competitive players, is being patched and gets new content from fans of the game in 2018... If that doesn't tell you something about this game, then nothing will.

This is one of the most epic games of all time, a real "classic"!

I'm a hardcore player, and I have played sooo many games, with many of them having a special place in my heart - but there is very few if any games which have such a significant impact on my life like this one. I played it when it came out, and returned to replay it over and over again. The base game was very good, but still lacking, but once the Armageddon's Blade was released, with its much longer and more polished campaigns, the brilliance was achieved. I have replayed it every year for like 10 years in a row, and I still do but less often today. There is just very few games that gives you so nice time...

I have played and enjoyed this game even before this Complete Edition was ever designed and remade. This version 4.0 is a much smaller programmed core engine than that of the expansion of Shadow of Death at version 3.0 + 2 major patches that brought it to version 3.2 as of the year 1999. What makes this game so outstanding is the new faction of The Conflux. A faction that has only the Sprites as their only living creatures into its ranks. Overpowered but very fun to learn how to use a whole army of these elemental creatures. You, the player, will feel sorry for the living, the undead and, the damned as they will not wield enough army strength or spell power in order to stop your troops. Make Enroth all by herself cleanse herself in your name and rule! Maps are very balanced and fun to replay over and over again and, to add to the immense fun of it all: A Random Map Generator to extend your fun even further. Buy this game and suffer the consequences of unlimited unwarranted fun that you never experienced, before. Therefore, you will forced to raise both hands' thumbs up with absolute confidence that this is/was the best strategy game purchase you have ever made. ;)
