Heroes of Might and Magic® 3: Complete

So I was introduced to this game close to 20 years ago if not longer by my cousin and uncle. I was hooked immediately and got a copy soon after. There was a time where I wasn't playing because I couldn't find a version compatable with my computer and it didn't have a disc drive for cd's. I didn't realize it had been digitally formatted and once I heard about GOG I jumped at the chance to get this game once more and play it regularly to reminisce from my childhood and am happy to have it again. If you are on the fence about this version (which is the best one in my opinion) go ahead and get it. It will take no time at all to become hooked and want to play daily! Thank you to GOG for keeping a great game alive and well!

For any fan of both fantasy and turn-based strategy, the Heroes of Might and Magic series is a must, and there is no doubt that the best title of the series is the third. The game has a lot going for it. A great variety of factions with a great variety of creatures from old mythology and some very Dungeons and Dragons inspired; a great variety of Heroes and skills allowing you to customize your strategy. The game is both fun and challenging if you chose higher difficulties. The art-style was made in such a way that it is pretty timeless (except for the cutscenes), and it still looks visually appealing. The game also has a big live following, with easily installable mods (of almost professional quality) furthering the game experience, and there is still a big online following and online lobby for who's into that sort of things.
