When Erathia's King Gryphonheart is murdered by traitors he is resurrected as an undead warlord who leads a ruthless invasion of his former Kingdom. Meanwhile the Necromancers raise large hordes of undead and advance towards the Erathian capitol. Classic for a reason
Great balance between simple gameplay but enough complexity to be interesting for hours on end. Not the deepest story or gameplay, but it isn't meant to be.

Heroes 3 is awesome, as always!
One of my all time favorite games. I play a lot of the modern games too but keep coming back to this turn-based classic for a change.
