When Erathia's King Gryphonheart is murdered by traitors he is resurrected as an undead warlord who leads a ruthless invasion of his former Kingdom. Meanwhile the Necromancers raise large hordes of undead and advance towards the Erathian capitol. Heroes of Might and Magic 3 complete
This is one of those games I find myself playing over and over year after year since it was first released. I have Heroes 3 and both expansions on CD and have put well into a thousand hours into them. Now I have bought the GOG version on sale just to have in my GOG library. Easy 5 stars for the complete version.

This must be the 5th time I've bought it
Seriously. I bought it before the expansions came out, then the complete version when by disc was dying, next was the 1-5 box set, then the HD version which was crummy. So here we go again. My CD from the 1-5 box set is still good, but it would not reliably run on Windows 7 or 10. So I gladly forked over 9.99 to get the complete version. This has been fantastic for a first GOG experience. No headaches whatsoever on my windows 10 laptop. Installed and started right away, and no stability issues. Lordy I think I am in love with GOG. Just hearing the deep voice of 3DO brings me back to countless hours of slaying hordes with angels and Titans beside my younger brother. Any of the issues are those of the original game. Such as a Slight balance issue with fortress being the weakest of the castles. But even that Castle is useable with the right tactics and hero building. I think I will be a GOG customer for a long time.

Loved the series!
Might be nostalgia, but for me this game is one I come back to every few years.
