One of the best games ever created. Really innovative, and interesting and the art is amazing. The community is still huge even after 23 years. There is online multiplayer, and simultaneous turns with the hota expansion which I recommend as well. There are a lot of interesting mods for this in one-word masterpiece.

101% would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys fantasy exploration/combat. Brings back good childhood memories :)

This is such a great game. Immense replay value with charming graphics and sounds. HD mod is recommended as it gives the game a modern face-lift and a few tweaks. Polished, easy to run and totally worth a try.

With unofficial HDmod, great community, I think I'll be playing this game even in retirement! From all HoMAM series, H3 is still unbeaten for me, 2D graphics is so clear. If you wake up me in the middle of the night, I think I would recited you exactly all monster statistics numbers :-) Hundreds of hours spent playing this catchy game. I would repair some useless secondary skills like Eagle Eye the way it not ruins the game feel (chance of instant gain of spell to your spellbook in the battle just after oponent casted, even after retreat) and Learning, otherwise it is just ruined slot :-) HotA is nice addition for multiplayer but for single player, I think game feel is ruined as it added and modified too many things.
