Its a bit repetetive
The missioins of the campaign are a bit too much like one another. Barely new units, or items. And then the matches start to drag, because one needs to defend every single opponent on the map, often.

Classic turn based strategy game
Early example of the Genera, lots of fun for the cost. The series peaked in game III IMO, but this is a great place to start. The only problem is that Heroes I lacks a lot of the little quality of life things you get in later games. Still worth it.
