Eight titles featuring the gameplay you know and love from Heroes of Might and Magic III. Eight chapters that tell the story of Tarnum, a barbarian hero and liberator of his kinsmen. After generations of oppression, Tarnum discovers his people's true history and leads an army of Stronghold troops against their tyrannical masters. Marching from the arid roughlands of his homeland and the muggy swamps of the lowlands, he follows and even surpasses the deeds of his legendary ancestor, who defeated the spellcasting oppressors long ago.
This great pack of all eight Heroes Chronicles chapters will allow you to spend hours adventuring on the continent of Antagarich.

Insultingly easy, but good stories
So easy even 10-year old myself would take this as an insult. It was an already established game back then but it still tries to hold the hand of the players at early levels like telling "visit all learning stones, because it is good for you". Sigh. AI is as aggressive like a half-awake sloth. Starting bonus choices make no sense. There are maps which can be done in 2 weeks (without any optimization). The lack of any challenge makes the game like a chore. Two things made me give 3 stars: Heroes 3 is still a bit like pizza or sex, plus the storytelling is really great.

HOMM3 campaigns are better
Boring and easy campaigns.

It's not that good ...
On the one hand, it's the Heroes 3 we all wanted. An actual campaign with each faction instead of a measly ~2 missions per faction. On the other hand, the dialogues and stories are just outright childish and dumb. It's like a PC game stooped low to the literacy standard of a console game. Like the dialogues of diablo1 dropping to diablo3.

Beware the Experience Cap
Just a couple of warnings: 1- If you don’t like playing as my least favorite class - the Barbarians (Behemoths, Cyclopes, Rocs, Orcs, and Goblins)… don’t buy this because those are the troops/heroes you will command all the way through. 2- As with all Heroes Campaigns, each successive scenario has an extremely low, and easy to reach, experience cap. You max out early on in each scenario and eventually get to a point where the levels are (in my opinion) much lower than they should be for the degree of difficulty. Even on the “easy” level. So I bought it, played it and deleted it. I would recommend that you purchase something else. Something more re-playable. (i.e. something with more variety to it.)
