It's a game with a special charm, a good story and you do not find yourself bored at any time.
I recomend to all who enjoy point and click games with a story, this is a must play game!
This is the overly similar sequel to "Hero of The Kingdom". While I didn't expect a major departure from the formula, I did have hopes that at least either the writing or the UI/UX would improve, but these hopes were rudely dashed against the rocks and lays amongst the other shipwrecks dotting the shore (if you squint, you might see it). I gave the prior 3 stars in part as it was a first release. The lack of improvement along the fundamentals of the game makes this release disappointing by comparison, hence the lower rating.
Like the prequel; this is basically an all-ages-appropriate (content wise) browser/mobile adventure (not an RPG) game without the paywalls endemic to the genre. It is pretty middle-of-the-road for that kind of game, but effectively zero stress. No timers, no RNG, no planning builds, etc.
Pros:
Effectively stress free.
Cons:
Some poor UX/UI items; only main questline is tracked (even that tracking is a bit a spotty), can only buy/sell one item at a time (really only matters for grinding cash), etc.
Story is very generic and linear.
Conclusion:
If a casual adventure game is the ask, this will do the trick adequately enough. The game almost certainly won't excite or thrill you, but that isn't always a bad thing. Full price is a bit high for what it brings to the table though, so save it for a sale. The game took a bit longer than the prior's 4 hours, clocking in at 6.5 hours. If you noticed; yes, I copy and pasted large chunks of this review from my review of the prequel. Just another indicator of how little the game evolved between installments.
I got this game for free and it was relaxing. I wouldn't buy this game, but if I had to pay for this I would give it 4-5€ for all this art work and game logic that developers had to work on.
Mostly a kids game. It's a fun timewaster, but...
unless you like going back and forth a LOT, it gets tedious trying to complete missions, even using the map jump system. Point and click, some items are really hard to spot, like eggs, mushrooms, and seashells. You have to rest CONSTANTLY, and fighting is way too easy, you just need the right equipment and the right amount of hearts. You also need way too many copies of the same things in inventory because you lose or break items, sometimes as soon as you use them. I mean, fill a basket with fruit. Eat the fruit, and the basket disappears too? You SHOULD have an empty basket to refill... I guess the baskets are made from edibles or something 🙄
Played for about an hour, probably won't bother finishing unless I get bored...but, it's great for younger kids who don't mind wasting time.
Three stars because while a decent story and children's game, it's just too much hassle and needs polishing. You also don't actually have a character avatar either, and the "big" map isn't much of an actual world to explore. It's all spot, point, click, gather, sell, buy, and sleep... and you can only eat and regain heart "energy" when you sleep...and of course you have to have the "right food" in all those rest areas...
Personally I prefer the original Ultima games, or even Phantasie.
Thats not bad point adventure point and click game with pleasent to eye (but not outstanding) graphics. What is bad, that game itself is mostly fetch quests collection, so you'll go forth and back a lot. Sometimes you learn new skills, so you can go forth and back again to make use of it. Each action you make also depletes your quite low stamina and you need to rest often, so ... you guess it.
It would be much better if it has some ... idk ... more tactical approach to some aspects or more diverse mechanics, but that just my grumble.
If you like doing task without any hassle, explore land and pick up mushrooms, its cool game. Otherwise, it might get boring after a while.
