What a Pleasant Surprise
I don't game regularly now, but X4 Foundations is/was my goto, but it's a little complex to just leap into for ten minutes now and then... Helium Rain is very, very different. With a really good tutorial system that slowly introduces additional gameplay elements, you're eased into what is a surprisingly good game, with a great feel. The music works well, and it almost gave me that original 'Elite' feeling from back in the 80s. I've played for a few hours now, have a few ships, and I'm no longer the weakest company... That added a new element as soon as I realised companies were ranked... You can declare war on other companies, and I guess they can do likewise, and there are of course the obligatory missions you can take to transport VIPs or cargo, or even destroy rogue asteroids threatening stations. But I love it, and am still discovering new gameplay elements, each with its own intuitive in-game tutorial that doesn't break immersion. Well recommended.

Simulation with not enough instructions
A simulation game in space where your goal is to build a delivery company from scratch. The game is very relaxing. Everything is slow, the from the music to the gameplay, but it works since where in deep space. However, there are some weird choices. The first tutorial in the game teach you how to dock to a station, which is rather complex and tedious. But later in the game you can do it automaticaly so you never do it again. The interface is weirdly done, lacking of explanation, and the trading system is not clear. I found myself establishing some trade route, analyzing the needs and resquests, but nothing happen, they don't trade. And since nothing explaining how to do things, i ended up stuck. I guess it's one of those game where you have to do your own research.

Relaxed game play
This appears to be a nice relaxed space hauling and Ship building game.

The Tutorial is the killer for this game
I don't usually have problems in putting some effort to understand complex games but what I don't accept is a tutorial that leads to getting me stuck. As others already pointed out, Docking is the worst functionality in this game that acts like a random-number-game when it comes to success or failure. For me, this even came into action while still into the early tutorial. It orders You to dock to a mining station - so far, so good. When at the station it tells You something about orbital navigation and to reduce alignment to 3°. This is where You come to think of "WHAT!?". Don't dare to undock Your ship to get some meaning into this task because You won't ever be able to dock to any station again. Uninstalled the game - not worth my time to get into a game where the tutorial is not even working and where a steam learning curve is torpedized by weak gaming mechanics (Docking).
