GUN™

GUN is an enjoyable game from the mid-2000s, when a good number of PS2 games were ported from consoles to PC. The graphics were dated at the time of its release, but talking about old games this is something we can forgive. The real problem is the tiny and empty environment compared to its contemporaries. The mission design is simple and the story is forgottable. It is not that anything is bad, but that compared to its peers this game does everything on the average level. The only saving grace of the game that we do not have many western themed games, so if somebody is unable to run RDR2, then this is one of the few alternatives. Interestingly this is not something that I would call an open world game, though there are a couple of side missions, and it is possible to ride across the land. It is just the world is really so tiny that it is difficult to enjoy the open part of it.

Beautiful storyline, nice gameplay.

This is the classic Western that paved the way for games like *Red Dead Redemption*. It absolutely deserved a sequel—and really, it should have been a full-blown franchise. The storyline was strong enough to support a game-to-movie adaptation even today. The voice cast is iconic, featuring a who's who of Hollywood talent: Thomas Jane, Lance Henriksen, Ron Perlman, Tom Skerritt, and Kris Kristofferson. It’s the kind of title that a studio like Digital Eclipse could brilliantly restore and reintroduce to a new generation. Highly recommended for anyone who loves the Western genre.

Excellent game, which I purchased on it's release date in 2006. It has a solid story and although it is semi open world the gameplay is pretty linear. Replayability is high in my opinion especially when trying to go for 100% completion. You really will not find any true issues with this excellent game there is just no way in h*ll I will ever pay $20.00 for an eleven year old game. Great game, outrageous price plain and simple.

This game is wonderful. For a basic summary, it is literally Red Dead Redemption. I have never played a Read Dead Redemption. GUN is a open-world western action game. There is a game mechanic called Quick Draw. It slows down time so you can shoot everything with your pistols. I didn't want to stop playing this but I had to for my own good. The only thing I would say bad about the game is the length. The game is only about 6 hours long (not including side missions). 6 hours may seem kind of a lot but the game just feels like it goes by fast. This game is really easy to 100% the game (I am currently working on that). The side missions are pretty fun to do. There are side missions when you are a deputy, there are ones when you are being a rancher, there are hunter missions where you hunt animals, and last is the poker tournaments. The story is really good in my book. That basically sums up the hole game. You should definitely buy this game if you are into these kinds of stuff! But $20 is maybe a bit too much. I recommend that you should wait for a sale. Now stop thinking and buy it!
