Gris is a hopeful young girl lost in her own world, dealing with a painful experience in her life. Her journey through sorrow is manifested in her dress, which grants new abilities to better navigate her faded reality. As the story unfolds, Gris will grow emotionally and see her world in a different way, revealing new paths to explore using her new abilities.
GRIS is a serene and evocative experience, free of danger, frustration or death. Players will explore a meticulously designed world brought to life with delicate art, detailed animation, and an elegant original score. Through the game light puzzles, platforming sequences, and optional skill-based challenges will reveal themselves as more of Gris’s world becomes accessible.

My Windows OS is in traditional Chinese and I prefer English for the game. The GOG galaxy is in English as well. The game is Simplified Chinese in default and there is no way to change the language. I can't read Simplified Chinese. I need either traditional Chinese or English. Please.
Game's boring. Nothing to add here really.
Additionally, game's sound is broken, when you switch to another sound adapter, music will be on the new adapter, while sound will stay on the default one.
Not recommening.
Really. Ignore all those delusional lunatics giving the "game" rave 5 star reviews; they're wrong. Objectively so. This is not a great game. It's not even a good game. Hell, it's not even A GAME, strictly speaking. The visuals are okay, I suppose, and the audio is... well, it's there. It's not bad but also not really noteworthy.
What IS noteworthy is the COMPLETE lack of gameplay. Which, for those less technically minded of you, is ESSENTIAL for an actual GAME. You see, and here I'll give you all a crash course in basic game development: unless a GAME has GAMEPLAY, then you can't PLAY the GAME, and therefor it's NOT A GAME. You see the pattern of logic I'm going with here?
Seriously...
If you want a game with terrific characterization, play Thomas Was Alone.
If you want a game with emotional depth and impact, play Spiritfarer.
If you want a game with hauntingly beautiful visuals and audio, play Okami.
If you want a game with relaxing gameplay and low-tempo pace, play Crayon Physics Deluxe.
If you want a game with excellent symbolism and storytelling, play Silent Hill 2.
Gris does NOT, IN ANY WAY, possess any of the above qualities. Characterization: null. Story: null. Gameplay: null. Honestly, this "game" has only one "quality", and it's pretentiousness. The "developers" had no intention whatsoever of challenging current trends or break new ground in any way whatsoever, and settled for the lowest of low-hanging fruits in gaming town, namely "no-effort-and-no-risk-pretentious-non-gaming".
In closing, Gris is nothing more than the product of a bunch of slow-witted, uninspired, and utterly talentless fools drooling on their keyboards in sufficiently prodigious amounts to SOMEHOW cause their lack of interest in actually CREATING a game to then congeal into a mass of what's quite literally the gaming equivalent of superficial Oscar-bait. I've been more emotionally engaged reading Wikipedia articles about fruit flies and other insects than I was whilst "playing" Gris.
