Gris is a hopeful young girl lost in her own world, dealing with a painful experience in her life. Her journey through sorrow is manifested in her dress, which grants new abilities to better navigate her faded reality. As the story unfolds, Gris will grow emotionally and see her world in a different way, revealing new paths to explore using her new abilities.
GRIS is a serene and evocative experience, free of danger, frustration or death. Players will explore a meticulously designed world brought to life with delicate art, detailed animation, and an elegant original score. Through the game light puzzles, platforming sequences, and optional skill-based challenges will reveal themselves as more of Gris’s world becomes accessible.

As you guys thanked me at the end for playing i have to thank too. As a person who is heavily lacking compassion you did me feel it.The game as a whole is designed magnificently-no stucks,no bugs no anything that will disarm this bomb of the internal world.Again thank you guys.
a truly creative game, with attention to detail in every aspect. In a world where you need more and more GPUs on steroids and where games mechanics are more and more complex, this game brings you a rare thing : Simplicity. As a high polished gem, it will bring you on of the most beautiful experience.
GRIS is a game somewhere hidden in the library of GOG and other such providers. Hadn't really heard from it, until I started searching for a platformer. And I'm so happy I did! This adventure is nothing short of breath taking. GRIS is gorgeous.
The game play is good, but sometimes and especially when I stopped playing the game for a day or two, I had to really get back into the game and find out what I was doing again. I think this is partially because the levels look somewhat similar in all their amazing mathematical perfection.
I love the colour aspect of this game and that the more you play it, the more colourful the game becomes.
All in all, here's my rating:
Story: Not much of a story, it's more atmospheric in my opinion
Graphics: 9.5/10
Music: 10/10
Atmosphere: 10/10
Game play: 7.8/10
Overall: great game. Would recommend if you like atmospheric platformers with a touch of magic. Bit lower on the Game play score as I sometimes just got heavily lost and had to resort to a walkthrough to find my bearings again. This happened more when the game got to its end - but this could also be my severe lack of concentration playing parts and I won't deduct stars for that.
Beautiful game, excellent soundtrack and some emotional parts.
Story is vague, gameplay is nice but not the reason why the game is good.
It is quite short, but for the cheap price it still gets the 5 stars
Good things out of the way first: no doubt, the game is extremely pretty, the environment and creatures are very creative.
But as a gaming experience I can only describe it as frustrating. All merit is lost on me if I have to repeat the same crappy jump 10000 times. One wrong twitch of the finger and you're back to square one.
Also, it took me a few rounds of googling to understand some parts of the games (like the mementos). Not saying the game should spell everything out, but at leastsuggest if something is important for the game so the player doesn't miss out if they didn't pick up random glow-y object that turns out to be important later.
