A masterpiece!
Do not miss the opportunity to play this gem, definitely one of the best points and click of your time, innovating with the mix of 2d and 3d! I recommend 100%. Awesome story, intuitive gameplay, just a little lacking in solving puzzles but nothing that affects you too much.

Instant Classic!
The game still holds up as a top ten even today! The Remastered version looks pretty similar to the original version though. Still an amazing game! One of the best adventure games of all time!

Great story and visuals, poor puzzles
The pacing of the charming and engaging story is held back by poor puzzles that are too obtuse. There are multiple parts where it is unclear that what you are supposed to click on is even an interactable element of the background, so you might even have the right idea to solve a situation but be floundering to even accomplish it. Many times the solution could have been solved in a creative way too but ends up being a very mundane, lame answer. The game also recycles locations near the end which isn't so bad, but the creativity in both scenarios and especially puzzles runs out of steam as it goes on. The remaster should have given a reasonable hint system to smooth this over, but instead on launch it only provided glitches. These have mostly been fixed as of writing this, but I remember being stuck in the forklift elevator section on my prior playthrough years ago. The original game's visuals which are a toggleable option still hold up fine anyway and are impressive. Overall a good game, but just use a guide when stuck. There's no satisfaction to some of these for how long it takes to figure something dumb out, if you don't just flat out give up.
