Definitely be careful of rose-tinted memories. The puzzles and its relatively early peak can't and shouldn't be ignored. Nor though can everything that it does right, from its sheer heart and creative polish, to the genius of its ideas and characters. Even when it stumbles, it stands as a fine reminder of why LucasArts at its prime was seen as the industry at its best, and few other adventures have deservedly gathered so much affection. It was an instant classic back in 1998. It's still very much a journey worth taking today, albeit ideally with a walkthrough.

Great classic for the Old gamers
This is a classic, not much to say after that. The nostalgia of the diskette era says a lot for those who struggled with no guides nor help back in the days... Long live LucasArts.

Probably my favorite game of all time
I don't think there's a better, more developed story and overall gameplay than this game to this day.

Had to limit FPS configuration
Is a great game, no discussion on that, all the good thing said before are truth, an absolute classic. However I had to limit FPS configuration to 60 FPS for this game as it was running over 1000 FPS at some moments causing my gaming laptop to overheat and making the fans run like crazy! Before that adjusment this was the most demanding software on my laptop even I often do architecture CGI.

Cult, classic, but impossible puzzles
Atmosphere: 10/10 Puzzles: 3/10 The puzzles are too obscure, you will need a walkthrough to end it. The story is really cool, but this game killed the adventure genre for many years!
