Greak: Memories of Azur is a side scrolling single-player game with hand-drawn animations. You will take the role of three siblings: Greak, Adara and Raydel to guide them through the lands of Azur. Alternate control between them and use their unique abilities to escape from the Urlag invasion.
Greak is the name of the main character, and the smallest brother of three. He belongs to a magical race called the Courines, which are currently under the attack of an enemy invasion from a faction called the Urlags.
This battle has been going on for a long time, and the Courines are starting to flee their own lands. Greak's goal is to reunite with his brother (Raydel) and his sister (Adara) and then escape the lands of Azur by Building an Airship piece by piece.

Interesting and not prolonged metroidvania with emphasis on puzzles (though there are some interesting fights, too).
The only drawback is bothersome dialog system.
I saw online someone say it's a little bit like Hollow Knight but not hard and I have to agree (loosely, yes I know it's not Hollow Knight calibre but its darn good). The story hook is okay, the combat is cool, and the world art and soundtrack are amazingly fantastical and adventerous, and the level designs and puzzles are pretty clever and fun, with only one coming to mind that could be considered tedious tbh. And the way the multiple controllable characters merge with the gameplay to further push the core theme/story, awesome, I love it. There's a very similar feeling to when playing Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.
I do recommend playing it on Accessible Mode: un controlled chaaracters dont take damage, having that off annoyed me.
I'd give it a 9/10 tbh but ill round up to boost it. Had a bunch of fun!
The art is 10/10, its what initially drew me to this game.
The soundtrack is very good as well.
The story is simple and beautiful, it gives you a sense of sorrow and hope. There is brotherly love involved but I wont spoil anything.
Gameplay wise: its a metroidvania, difficulty is to the easy side Id say, the main difficulty comes from controlling all characters, it has some problems like getting the final and strongest character towards the end of the game so there isnt much time to use him.
Its a very ambitious game overall, it doesnt quite ...get there? Id say? But I defintely recommend it, give it a try you wont regret it.
