Just concept arts

In almost all pages there are many drawings mixed (eg: many versions of the end portal), or arts from different section of the game (eg: all the villagers houses in the same page) or a background with many different sprites (eg: a dungeon room with all the various frames for the death animation of a stone golem). Imho what's really missing is some more evocative full-page artwork (the forest at night? A fully upgraded graveyard?) to insert between a concept art and a here-are-all-the-sprites page. I mean, it's not bad, but after reading all the pages what's left is... Meh. Worth a buy on sale to further support the game devs.
