Gorogoa

A clever puzzle game with a very interesting idea, accompanied by beautiful art and music. Puzzles themselves are not hard, but because of the unusual nature of those puzzles, finding the solution to them is very satisfying, and some of them will make you smile and say to yourself "Ha, thats clever". Game is relatively short, but gameplay potential is fully realised in that short amount of time, so I don't think the game would've benefited from a more lenghty playthrough.

This is what computer games should be like! It's captivating, the art work is lovely and the music's good. The puzzles are challenging but there are enough clues around to solve them. It's not the longest game, but it is worth a re-run even when you know it. A lot of care has gone into this game

I decided to play Gorogoa despite not being much of a fan of puzzle games owing to the beautiful illustrations and rave reviews. It certainly is beautiful, and quite calming to play; the soundtrack complements the game perfectly. Gameplay is innovative, with tiles either being stacked, pulled apart, or put next to each other to advance the main character's quest. There was only one puzzle that frustrated me when I was trying to solve it, about mid-game, and that's not bad. I'd say for puzzle game fans, this is a must-buy. For people who aren't fans of the genre, it's worth trying the demo (available elesewhere) first; if you like it, go for it!

Wonderful game, but too short! I blazed througth the entire game in one 1.5 hour session. I won't detract a star because those 1.5 hours were without flaw. The puzzles are innovative and challenging but fair, and the art and story are beatiful and evocative. Many feels.

Unusual game that requires lots of thinking. I really enjoyed it although I did resort to a walkthru when seriously stuck. The game is hard to describe as you work with 4 panes of graphics to try to further the story. You have to combine frames to cause things to happen and often that is not an easy task. Very pretty, very imaginative. Really enjoyed it but it won't be for a lot of adventure gamers. Kudos to the creators.
