WORLD

We will take you on an unforgettable adventure to a brand-new part of the Gothic world – the Kingdom of Elea. Travel across its part, the Island of Samoa, which years ago was inhabited by a bloodlusting cult of the Hasisians and still hides their dark secrets. You can expect many unique locations such as a port town, hunter, lumberjack, and bandit camps, swamps, dead lands, a winter biome, as well as many underground locations.

 

 

STORY

The main character is Morris, a young hunter. He lives on Samoa his whole life, which has a significant influence on gameplay. Most characters already know Morris and have a specific opinion of him. Of course, as a consequence of your action, you will be able to shape those opinions anew. You can improve Morris's relationships with people or antagonize them. Your choices matter, and you cannot please everyone!

 

 

Morris's main goal is to discover his descent. To do that, he must leave the island, but it will not be so simple, as fate is a cruel mistress, and she will set many obstacles right before him...

The hero will be tangled in the intrigue with far higher stakes than he would ever imagine. Your choices will shape the destiny of the island, and maybe even of the whole Kingdom...

Really good Gothic Mod! 4.5 Stars!

Pro: small but amazing map with lots of caves and plataues lots of good and funny quests almost no bugs runs stable (after some help with direct 3d) overall good story and main char+friends good ingame systems Cons: a bit of stuff can be confusing: how to use the shovel for the one quest; some mapmarkers; some riddles last chapter felt rushed; like no quest to look for survivers or just check with all camps and famous people on the island before getting on boot the in-temple section was a bit too long imho no build in quicksave/quickload All in all most likely the best polished mod after archolos

Lot of a good work

Playing this was like a missing extension to original Gothic stories. Creators put a lot of effort. Attention to detail and creativity in implementing new mechanics is impressive. Hope to see this story continued!

A full adventure game

It's a full gothic nostalgia heavy adventure game. The island seems small in today's standards, but every corner has content which expands when progressing through the story. The game has several chapters like Gothic used to have. Taking my time trying to explore every bit of content, it has been a 50 hour journey - much more than I expected from a mod. There are two locations (Gereza and remote island) where I couldn't access the closed doors. I don't know what I missed here or how. The one thing I would criticise is that there are not enough learning points to go around. Even when investing only in strength, you can't max it out. You might reach maximum strength through various boni, but then you still end up with no fighting skills. That needs to be fixed (later learning requires too many points)

Great so far

Good story. Old school Gothic feeling. Some screen tearing near the sea is the only thing annoying me sometimes. Highly recommended.
