The Definitive Experience?
There's a debate about whether this is the definitive way to play Deus Ex, and while I've never played the original, I'd put GMDX in my top 5 games of all time. Make of that what you will.

The best way to play one of the greatest
This is without a doubt my favourite way to experience this all time classic. Worked like a charm and helped make this amazing game a little more accessible to modern players. The themes of this games story have aged like fine wine in a very scary way.

I PLAYED This!
Being one of those odd ones who liked the second 'Invisible War' better than Deus Ex original game...still this is the mod I played most with the original; pleasantly surprised to now find it here, in the same latest best version I also played! As Others said, GREAT mod; as some Others said, defers in ways from the vanilla version... I think maybe it is even more difficult; but uncertain, as I found the original difficult but interesting as I keep trying now and then. Lol. DO download this if You like; I only gave four stars, as I prefer Deus Ex 2. I also wonder if it is compatible with some other mods for more multi-tools and stuff; but this is MY problem. Lol... It also runs well on latest Win 11 here, with my legacy Nvidia 1050 display :-)

Good, but iffy performance
Love this collection of mods into a single package. The updated skills and augs, the level shifts, added customization, and certain AI adjustments are something I appreciate a great deal. However.. The menues seem to have issues when trying to access the inventory, or the pause menu. It isn't like it casues the game to crash, but there's definitely a work load that's being forced on the game that it doesn't care for.
