Graphics: Work for the most part, but some graphical effects are broken. For example, the enchanted green gems lack transparency and look solid-green. The corpses of enemies with 2-D spheres for bodies also don't disappear when killed. Music: Sounds fine, but the music tracks restart abruptly rather than loop smoothly Sound Effects: There are three key issues with the sound effects: First, they cut-off too soon. For example, Glover's cartwheel sound effect stops before it finishes. One other example is how the sound effect for collecting Garibs (Glover's version of coins) sounds like a short beep from a BIOS speaker instead of a nice ringing tone. Second, some of the sound effects don't play at all. Third, sometimes the wrong sound effects play. For example, the sound that plays when an enchanted green gem is slotted inside the castle sounds like a bug getting smushed. One other example happens when the sound effect for collecting final Garib plays, which is a collection of sound effects from the opening cutscene when the wizard's potion exploded, he got turned to stone, and screamed as he fell through the collapsing wooden floor in the castle. Gameplay Experience: Disappointing overall. I wanted to enjoy the sweet ringing of collecting Garibs in quick succession with a transparent green gem, but I got short beeps and a solid-green gem instead. I went back to the Main Menu to quit the game, but there was no Quit option, so I had to Alt+F4. I traveled to the Circus area to play some Pachinko with the magnetic ball, but there was a triangle-shaped hole in the ground where the ball fell through the map and cost me some lives. I ventured into the prehistoric volcano, and the rolling boulders which should have appeared near the end of the stage never spawned. Found this out while watching a video walkthrough to find the location of the hidden Garibs in that level. TLDR: This port lacks polish and I don't recommend it.
