Before man climbed down from the trees to shop in megastores and drink cappuccino, before the Earth wadded itself into a cool blue ball, before the Moon even existed, there was the Island. The Island, a massive fragment of a long-lost planet, hurtling blindly through space. Upon the surface of this paradise wanders the giant, Kabuto. Little does Kabuto know that the Island was home to others before him. In the oceans, there dwells a matriarchal race called the Sea Reapers. In their pride, they created Kabuto, as a defense against intruders. But Kabuto became conscious of himself, his loneliness, his pain - and he went berserk.
Space castaways, the Meccs piloted their ship through space, looking for their missing friends. If you haven’t guessed already, they ended up on the Island. Faced with yet another unscheduled layover while on their way to Planet Majorca, the Meccs decide to make the best of their temporary home. Just their luck - the natives are already embroiled in their own little war, and the Mecc visitors are most unwelcome!
Meccaryns... Sea Reapers... Kabuto... One island isn’t big enough for the three of them.

Giants is a game you'll want to say you've played. The single player is amusing enough and the situations and characters are always good for a laugh.
Unfortunately, the game does little to pull you in to any of the storylines. It's more of a series of quests to do seemingly random things with different characters. While, at times, enjoyable, quickly becomes boring and a slog.
If you really enjoy non-sequitur humor, and don't mind sometimes hair-pulling frustrating levels, you'll enjoy this game.
The other reviewers have tapped this game right. The graphics may not be the greatest, but the game is fun and funny. I like the building elements of it--I wish they had followed up with it, because its fun but feels incomplete. In the game you take on several roles, each of which have their ups and downs. The game is pretty challenging but not frustrating. The only flaws with the game(in my opinion) revolve around it trying to do too many different things with the game and the player's role, but never actually perfecting any one. Overall, the game is great, very fun, and the dialogue and cutscenes are really funny. I'd recommend this game for the price, in spite of its flaws.
Giants is a fun little game that has you mostly commanding a meccan named Baz who after accidentaly landing on a hostile planet instead of ending up partying in Majorca has to Find the rest of his team and find a way off this planet. Along the way he meets several helpful characters including an old grouchy Smartie named Borjoyzee, Yan and the Sea Reaper Delphi. The game is mostly a Third-Person Shooter but has 2 RTS style missions and overall is a great experience from beggining to end.
Expect to get 10-20 hours of entertainment out of this purchase, unless you can find some friends to play on a LAN - the single-player campaign is extensive and humorous, but replayability is fairly low.
Giants has aged well looks good with any modern PC (minor graphical glitches aside). Even though some basic RTS elements are introduced, the focus is largely on the action.
The game, characters and plot are quite enjoyable despite the slightly frustrating game mechanics and controls. This is a refreshing change from recent games, but doesn't leave much reason to go back and play it again once you've completed the campaign.
The only major let-down during the campaign, the first time through, are four repetitive jetski racing levels during that take about 10 minutes each to complete.
Just a great, quirky game that fortunately runs very well on my Win 10 computer. Be sure to patch it to the latest version (1.501) to enable the DX9 renderer and squash a lot of bugs.
