Ghost of a Tale

What a game. I am su suprised abut the quality. It was on my radar since 2012, when I reached out to the dev who was just startting working on it. Then years later got it on gog giveaway, but didn't had a chance to give it a shot untill now ( so many years passed I forgot I have it ). It is a wonderful, beautifull and well designed game. Animations and art style is stunning, and so much more enjoyable then so much crap that is being produced nowdays. It is an exciting stealth action adventure and I highly recomend to anyone who loves computer games. There are some minor issues, occasional fps drops, few bits where you can see trough geometry or there's lack of it, and sometimes it's hard to now exactly what to do ( but it alwyas possible to figure it out with help of colourful npc ). GET IT.

Pretty good game, except for the final task. It's understandable that the devs wanted to create a sense of urgency and pressure for the finale, but this was not a good way to go about it when the rest of the game has you take your time while sneaking around. IMO, YMMV. Other than that it was a really enjoyable experience. The characters turned out to be more interesting than they let on at first. The location is well-designed with all its nooks and crannies, shortcuts and secret passageways. And while the game has a lot of fetch quests and backtracking, it's not really an annoyance here, but rather helps you familiarize yourself with the location.

I haven't finished the game yet, but it's a really nice stealth game. Old school in a sense that it doesn't point you directly to the objectives, but rather gives you hints via the dialogs and you have to figure out yourself how to get to various places. I also like how the areas are interconnected, with many hidden passages and shortcuts, making exploration fun and engaging. If you like old school stealth games like the original "Thief" series then I totally recommend trying this game out.

An incredibly charming and gorgeous albiet janky at times stealth game. The small development team managed to to capture the enduring charm of the likes of Redwall and Mouse Guard and effortlessly infuse them into a game where you are attempting to find your mate in a hostile fort. Combat is nonexistant as everything will and can kill you! Get it if you're into exploration, stealth and very minimal hand holding.

As the title says, this game is an example modern stealth had best follow.
