Arrowhead made a very true-to-source Gauntlet game, no doubt, but the source is 30 years old, and could use some modern accouterments. Gauntlet is as much fun as it has ever been, but it'll get old fast for those who still remember slogging through the original.

Few games can come close to creating the same mayhem and excitement as Gauntlet can. While not the game for a lone wolf, Gauntlet is all about friends competing for gold and shooting each others' food. From the new hero designs to the variety of enemies and snarky humor, this is one that co-op fanatics won't want to miss.

Fantastic co-op game!
I've been playing this game with 2 of my boys for a bit now, and I absolutely love it. It's got a lot of the same feel as the classic Gauntlet games, but it's added a number of awesome new features. My favorite improvement has been that each hero now has an entirely different moveset from the other heroes. Each one of them is a pile of fun to play. And the customizability options (relics, equipment, etc) add some creative and fun options to the play. Highly recommended for a fun, casual, co-op experience.

I kinda dig it.
Its alright. I was really hoping for just something like gauntlet 2 but prettier. Cartoony even. This looks like diablo unfortunately. But it plays enough like Gauntlet that I get a little nostagic feel now and again.

Annoyance Limit Tester App sold as game?
After *literal* years of looking, I FINALLY find an ARPG with a controller setup that I like. And the experience is immediately ruined by an invincible ghost with a damage aura that chases you. This is not a serious game, it is a game for clowns. This game is an ARPG which *punishes you for looting*. I cannot stress enough how annoying that invincible ghost is. I'm aware it's part of the Gauntlet brand. I have no problem with *the idea*, just the implementation here. It's too powerful and it moves too quickly, no matter the difficulty level. What could've been a good chill game becomes just another game in the long line of failures trotted out by modern gaming that confuses 'unneeded stress' for 'actual balance'. The two stars are because it runs (one star) and has decent gfx/sound (another star). I wanted to add one star because of the controls but I took it off because the lazily-implemented ghost drove me away.

Solid, polished, highly replayable.
Each character feels much different than in previous Gauntlet games. This is good, because it makes the game much more replayable.
