Fury Unleashed was created by combining inspiration from modern roguelite platformers, like Dead Cells and Rogue Legacy, with nostalgic memories of old-school platformer shooters, like Contra and Metal Slug. Explore the pages of a living comic book where ink is your most valuable resource and each room is a comic panel. Find out why is John Kowalsky, author of acclaimed Fury Unleashed series having a creativity crisis and see if you can help him deal with it.


Kill enemies quickly enough to unleash your fury and rip through everything in your way without getting injured. Learn to play flawlessly and beat the entire game in one, epic combo!


Choose either the challenging Hard mode (which will put your skills to the test) or Easy mode (where you can adjust the difficulty parameters any way you want). Beat Hard mode to unlock access to even harder Incredible and Legendary modes. Disable blood and gore if you don't like it, or if there are young children around. Go solo or bring in a friend for a local or online co-op session. Choose your hero's skills to match your playstyle and modify their appearance to your liking!


Discover worlds created by a mix of hand-designed levels and procedural generation algorithms. Choose the best items to assist you in your playthrough and unlock permanent upgrades when you'll die for your subsequent runs.


Play through the pages of visually distinctive comic books, each with its own enemies, and overcome a total of 40 bosses. All that accompanied by epic soundtrack composed by Adam Skorupa and Krzysztof Wierzynkiewicz, the creators of music for The Witcher, Bulletstorm and Shadow Warrior 2.

Kudos to Awesome Games Studios for spending the 5 years of development on Fury Unleashed because it shows in the fluidity of gameplay. I really wish there was even more content to be had but with the effective procedural randomness and high difficulty I keep coming back for more.

On the other end of the scale are those who would not touch games like Dead Cells despite its gorgeous visuals. Those will consider Fury Unleashed a waste of time and not even the easier game mode might convince them otherwise. This mode is ideal for streamers as presented by the producers themselves, allowing them to focus not just on the game, but their audience as well. And this solution is brilliant since watching it played by someone who mastered the game mechanics, can make Fury Unleashed more fun than actually playing it.

VERY ADDICTIVE

I really can't get enough of this Rogue-like Run 'n' Gun with a twin stick shooting mechanic with a presentation of Comix Zone. A very fun game and I bet it is loads of fun multiplayer! If you like Metal Slug and you like Neon Chrome (etc.) You should be playing this. The dificulty is about perfect and you won't be disappointed!

Fun for an hour or two

Played it coop with a friend. I think the game concept is okay, but the levels are so cramped and small. It simply wasn't fun. I would only recommend this to hardcore genre fans.
