Full Throttle Remastered

Of course I love this game. I have the speedrun world record for it.

Game pretty. Game funny. Game fun. Game good. Like game. Hate being asked to review. Being asked to review throws this one into a metaphorical homicidal rage. Stop asking this one to review.

I purchased the original Full Throttle 30 years ago and had it on a DOS machine. Did not get to far into it back in the mid 1990's. Fast forward. When GOG offered the enhanced version that seemed like an easier way to play the game, so I bit and bought it. The graphics are WAY better than the original. That makes it a lot easier on the eyes. But what I did not remember from so long ago when I only got part way into the game in DOS is how frustrating the game can be. It just does not feel intuitive when you are trying to solve puzzles or the order in which you have to do things. The Demolition Derby is EXTREMELY painful. I almost threw in the towel trying to figure out how to get past it. Fortunately I found a cheat that is built into the game to get past this frustrating mess, SHIFT+V. I did manage to finish the game without giving up. This unlike many of my other classic games will not be one that I decide to play again.

Finally it arrived! I loved this game and I was waiting for this remastered version. The next steps: Indy and the fate of Atlantis, Indy and the last crusade and The Dig :)))

I'm really glad of reincarnation of this beautiful game. It's my youth in it! Couldn't finish it when I was a kid. So I'm geatful for the second chance. 5/5 Nostalgic, beautiful, funny, atmospheric.
