Good Space Combat
But what about the fact that there exist no real characters? Everyone's just called Alpha, and as such the protagonist's interaction with the world is bizarre and stilted. A squad that sticks by you, a sense of movement as you move from division and division, the fact that command is constantly pulling some suspicious sh*t never becomes a factor in the story, and Bosch the narrator and point of interest fades anticlimactically out of the story. Now I've also tried to make some excuses for the strange ending, it could be kind of a cool anticlimax if the preceding game had been suitably involving, but it wasn't. I felt cheated.
