Forgive Me Father 2 is a throwback FPS with a stylish Lovecraftian presentation. If you're craving a slick arena shooter to play for a few hours then this is a good option, although the pedestrian level design and short campaign holds it back from competing with the best in the genre.

It's a safe alright boomer shoot
The game doesnt really do anything new and plays it safe. The levels are nice and alright, the enemy design is visually intresting but very noisey. Which makes setting them apart pretty hard and in some levels hard to see, the secrets are not that usefull its only ammo and health really. The weapons well they look nice and the animation are great, how it works is that you can buy new varient of a base weapon like a shotgun with weapon tokes. But they arent really upgrades, they're either downgrades or sidegrades and you also have a card perk system which you can buy and equip new perks. I didnt really use it that much since the game is not that difficuly.

good, but the difficulty...
as long as the normal gameplay is very fun , but the area fights feel unbalanced and far harder then the rest of the Levels. At some points it forced me to replay the hole Level, because of the cards and weapons i have chosen before. The game mechanik with the cards doesnt feel well through out.

Its a'ight
I've never played a game that felt more like AI created it. Even though I'm sure a team of people actually made this game, this has some of the worst writing, uncanny voice acting, and one of the stupidest and most overly melodramatic stories I've experienced in a game in a long time. That said, the gameplay is good, it controls great, and there is a great assortment of weapons, even if it's overly unforgiving with some horrible balancing during certain fights, even on normal. Overall. its a fun shooter that just barely doesnt overstay its welcome, wrapped in an asinine story, with an amazing art design if you're in to Lovecraft. If your in the market for a tough as nails FPS with a really nice art style, this is worth a shot for 15 bucks or less.
