Unfair, dark, Lovecraftian "Painkiller"
What's good: - challenge (when it's fair) - nice cartoony visuals - weapons variety - enemies variety - bullet hell (if you like that) - some levels with interesting design What's bad: - difficulty jumps - some unfair levels, but not much (traps, navigation problems) - too much darkness - sometimes it's like a mockery in the worst way - unfair balance, sometimes (huge amount of enemies, too much hp) - average performance Conclusion: It's worth time, while also can be frustrating, annoying, unfair BUT fun. Leveling passive skills can and will drastically change weapons. Why painkiller? - because you'll dance in first-person around each room/location trying to avoid damage while also managing your ammo and weapons. Additionally it feels like some levels are rushed during development - badly balanced and designed, too dark. By the end enemies have too much hp. Finished in 11 hrs on journalist, mostly on "very easy", mixed impressions.
