Decent fun with few annoying problems
FlatOut is decently fun racing game that has sadly some annoying elements. The racing itself feels good and maps are generaly speaking allright, some being more fun to play and some being frustraiting than fun. It's also fairly difficult, it's not easy but it's also not super hard. The annoying parts of this game are too sensitive bumping into objects, even at low speed or barely even touching the surface of the object, followed by "out of track" status when your car is like 2m away from the main road while still closely following it, but the game on some maps register you as ridding off the track completely. The worst offender being the reset button that has delay before you can use it when you need it the most. For example, if your character gets pushed out of your car you will have to wait around 3-5 seconds before you can respawn, making this painfully frustraiting. The soundtrack is avarage to below avarage at best for me. It took me only around 5,5 hours to beat but you have the option to play some bonus levels if you wish to. Final score from me is 6/10.
