Flashback 2

Game doesnt work for me after unity Logo just a black screen . Have requested a refund. Sorry

I've been waiting for a sequel to Flashback for a looong time, and when they eventually do it it's ruined by a rushed release... sigh. The good: Nice graphics The bad: lag of the controls, some stuttering, restoring a saved game is a lottery (often the restored status won't be complete), controls are not user configurable, no AMD FSR support - only DSR for Nvidia cards. The ugly: lousy controls, lagging and inaccurate Most of those defects might - or might not - be fixed by the developers with future patches, hoping that everything is actually fixable... The controls are really terrible for a platform game. To be honest I'm thinking about a refund, a first for me.

This game is in my whishlist. I was waiting for it, but as soon as i saw Microïds warning on the main page, i did not went for buying. Why ? Because i find it unbelievable they are releasing the game knowing from the very beginning that there will be bugs. In the goold old CDROM games, when they had released the medias, they could not stop, they had to patch asap. Today it's all about digital release. So there's nothing preventing them from releasing when they have fixed the bugs they know they have. Here they know they have nasty bugs, but whatever, they put it on sale .... @GOG even you, how can you accept to put on sale a game for which their editor recognizes there are bugs from the very beginning ? Also After having read reviews, indeed, the bugs seem to be really annoying, so why buy before they are fixed ? Maybe Microïds is aiming for a "free" QA done by the players ? No way for me. Microids has release 3 games over last week, and they are all screwed up by bugs ... how can we trust them ?

Was hoping for this to be good, just a game the fill in the time until some Great games come out in 2024. But this game did not work at all for me + only 1.9GB not 13BG of it downloaded. And VERY gameplay reviews. My advice to the developers of this: Do Not Release a game until it's full tested & patched, also if it needs more work done to it. Did you lean nothing from the Cyberpunk 2077 disaster!!!. If we had to wait another month, to play this game becuase it needed patching and work done to it, as in gameplay and controls mapping, OK fine. Flashback 2 could of been better built. Maybe with the Unreal Engine

I preordered the game... got it late and now i get a black screen after microids logo and my pc is supposed to be able to run the game i hope this gets fixed soon with an update
