Flashback™

Flashback has been great game back in a day and still is today. Now it got nice upgrade to modern world while leaving all those things we loved Flashback back in a day intact fortunately. Those who never played it before should try. Simple, addictive, well designed with good yet simple background story and with very own style just like Another World. A truly classic that never gets old.

It's a shame they couldn't get the SEGA CD version of Flashback. It had better sound effects and cut scenes. Don't get me wrong, all of the core gameplay is there, but the new and midi sound effects are kinda rough to listen to compared to the SEGA CD version. Otherwise, this is a great port of Flashback and a definite pick up for that nostalgia feeling.

I remember finishing this game on the old Sega Gensis back in the early 90's. Th is reminds me of the time i used to work for a small games shop that sold console's & games for Nidendo & Sega, this was one of my favorite plaform games as it was much like the old Commodre 64 game Impossible Mission. Flashback has some good storyline for an old platform game, my favortie stage of this game was the game show.

This game is still as good as I remebered from when I played it on my Amiga 500 back in the early 1990-ies. I just had to remove the filter that made the screen look like its been smeared with vaseline so I could enjoy the beautiful pixel graphics. The Morph enemies, that you encounter later in the game, where a bit more annoying then I remembered. Other than that I can't complain to much about this game.

flashback has been 1 of my all time fav games since i first played it back on the megadrive. the game runs flawless at any res. im running it at 2560x1440. it has optional filters and some new modern touches such as a rewind feature aswell as built in controller support with xinput. im glad they kept the original cgi rather than the newer type they used on the mega-cd version as i tend to prefer this version. all in all just as good as i remember it and no longer have to load up an emulator to play. well worth it
