On its 25th anniversary, rediscover this classic, consistently ranked among the best 100 games of all time! It was one of the first games to use motion capture technology for more realistic animations, with backgrounds that were entirely hand-drawn and a gripping science-fiction storyline.
Travel back to the early 90’s and reunite with Conrad to rediscover this cult classic.
Choose to play with the original graphics and sounds from the 90’s and face an unforgiving difficulty.
Or go with the Modern mode. You can also fine tune your experience by turning on Modern mode options independently and on the fly.
Enhanced content:
For the first time ever, play the Director’s Cut version featuring 2 exclusive cutscenes
White or pink? Choose among the two iconic colors of Conrad's t-shirt

Completely remastered sound and music,
A brand new "Rewind" function, variable according to the level of difficulty
The game itself deserves 5+ stars, but this edition is just good. I enjoy the aditional options included like the CRT filter, but it would have been amazing if GOG had included the original DOS release, or maybe the comic of the Sega Genesis edition. Nice to been able to play it again though.
Finger twistingly, hand breakingly awful controls. And as is often a trend these days, NOT remappable. This really is another console port, and intended for console controllers. PC mouse, keyboard and joystick users can go fuck themselves seems to be common anti-gamer attitude from the lazy developers of today.
Well, I never really thought much of the original Amiga 500 version in '93! Despite the hype back then. Just another combat platformer.
I want to ask "Wiewioor" how much he was paid for that 5-star review as well!
This game is an absolute mess when it comes to controls. Even following the tutorials, the game does not cooperate in any reasonable manner. You move like you wading through treacle while all the enemies move like they've drank 4 cups of espresso. I have no idea how to long jump. Some controls are mixed and some need you to hold down a button, even after being only prompted to "press".
I finally made it to a save point but I don't want to play any more. The only redeemable feature of this game is the modern additions, mainly the rewind function.
The graphics are sub-par, even for the time. There is no proper story, no explanation as to where you are, who you are, what you're doing....
Something tells me this is just a 10 minute game stretched into a longer format.
The controls are very stiff and leave little margin for error. There seemst to be a gameplay bug too if you don't do something in the right order, you are left stuck in a level.
Meh save yourself the money.
