Description
F.E.A.R. Platinum includes the original F.E.A.R. and its two addons: F.E.A.R. Extraction Point and F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate.

Be the hero in your own cinematic epic of action, tension and terror. A mysterious paramilitary force infiltrates a multi-billion dollar aerospace compound, taking hostages but issuing no demands. The government responds by sending in a Special Forces team only to have them obliterated. Live footage of the massacre shows an inexplicable wave of destruction tearing the soldiers apart. With no other recourse, the elite F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon) team is assembled to deal with the extraordinary circumstances. They are given one simple mission: Evaluate the threat and eliminate the intruders at any cost.

F.E.A.R. Extraction Point
Extraction Point kicks off where the original game ended – with a bang. As the helicopter which the F.E.A.R. team is on attempts to leave the vicinity, it instead winds up crashing. The F.E.A.R. team is thus forced to seek out an alternate extraction point, all the way battling the now free Alma and her paranormal minions across a destroyed city.

F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate
As the first F.E.A.R. team and Delta Force fight for control of the situation, a second F.E.A.R. team is sent in to shed some light on Armacham Technology Corporation's (ATC) dark past. As a member of a secondary F.E.A.R. team, you are brought in to discover more information regarding the secret project at the ATC facilities.

goog old classic

Game is good, we know the game, but I have problem with installing it in Win 7, it works with no problem on Win 10, but when I try to install it from the same installer in Win 7, it says it's corrupted for some reason, which is sad because it's an old game and people like to play it on retro computers. But maybe I have just something wrong there, I normally installed GOG installers even on Win XP with no problem.

F.E.A.R a western horror shooter

Yeah, I love horror games like Silent hill and Resident evil among others. But one game change my mind(It was like when Red barrels announced their videogame called Outlast and people who like horror stuff like me went crazy) I remember watch a creepy/lurid/spine-chilling gameplays(just a reminder that it was on 2010 when I met that game) and it was terrifying but beautiful haha, but the most major thing was that the game is a shooter but a darker one. One of the best games for the spooky fest thing and all that stuff to enjoy GOG(good old games) with a cold soda and a bunch of crisps.

Best one in the serie

The best one, the only one you MUST have played at least once. Subtle horror tension, perfect FPS mechanic, beautiful atmosphere, very good looking still today. One of my favorite FPS.

F.E.A.R. 1

To me F.E.A.R. is an example of the perfect first-person shooter. Its levels are very well designed and host many engaging combat encounters, it has first aid kits and actual health points as opposed to the annoying health regeneration system, and as you progress you find or pick up off dead enemies more and more powerful weapons without having to deal with the modern crafting/upgrading system, which I am definitely not a fan of. The weapons include your regular rifles/shotguns, 3 types of explosives, and a couple of futuristic guns. There are two main families of enemies (variations of the replica soldiers and Armacham security forces, mainly differentiated by their arms and armor) and more rare supernatural horrors. At times the ability to slow down time does make certain parts of the game easier, other times though it feels vital. I’d say the game is balanced around it and this mechanic makes things more fun and intense, not to mention that it’s actually a plausible explanation for why you were able to single-handedly take down a small army worth of soldiers. You can change the difficulty at any point in the pause menu, if it’s too easy or too hard. The story (a good part of which is told through the voice messages on phones and the information you learn from abandoned laptops) is good, but it’s not something you’d discuss at a family dinner. It’s important to note that the included expansion packs (Extraction Point and Perseus Mandate) are NOT canon. F.E.A.R. 2 and its DLC continue the story of the original F.E.A.R.

F.E.A.R. has aged amazingly well.

The gunplay holds up and this game still has the best enemy AI I've ever seen. Extreme difficulty is hard but fair, and incredibly rewarding to boot.
