F.E.A.R. Platinum includes the original F.E.A.R. and its two addons: F.E.A.R. Extraction Point and F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate.
Be the hero in your own cinematic epic of action, tension and terror. A mysterious paramilitary force infiltrates a multi-billion dollar aerospace compound, taking hostages but issuing no demands. The government responds by sending in a Special Forces team only to have them obliterated. Live footage of the massacre shows an inexplicable wave of destruction tearing the soldiers apart. With no other recourse, the elite F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon) team is assembled to deal with the extraordinary circumstances. They are given one simple mission: Evaluate the threat and eliminate the intruders at any cost.
F.E.A.R. Extraction Point
Extraction Point kicks off where the original game ended – with a bang. As the helicopter which the F.E.A.R. team is on attempts to leave the vicinity, it instead winds up crashing. The F.E.A.R. team is thus forced to seek out an alternate extraction point, all the way battling the now free Alma and her paranormal minions across a destroyed city.
F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate
As the first F.E.A.R. team and Delta Force fight for control of the situation, a second F.E.A.R. team is sent in to shed some light on Armacham Technology Corporation's (ATC) dark past. As a member of a secondary F.E.A.R. team, you are brought in to discover more information regarding the secret project at the ATC facilities.

Update (20 March 2025)
Limited FPS to 60 (configurable), ensuring smoother performance.
Boring. After 2 mission your'll find your self doing always the same stuff: run, shoot some enemies, explore new rooms. I used the cheats to finish it ASAP. Even the final is not exiting. Too bad. I had too many expectations
Admittedly yes i bought this a while back, but i have been trying off and on and i've had enough of this. The game wouldn't stop crashing after the second level, so i reinstalled it about 4 times, only to have it work and freeze about halfway through the 3rd level. Garbage. And it's a shame, because the game itself is excellent, i'm just sick of this version. And its weird, i can run the game on ultra it will just freeze up, so beware if you're on xp try at your own risk
On steam, first mission runs around 30 fps, the second around 20 and less.. here, im getting 7fps from the very begining :/ Damn, ive had a itch for FEAR, too bad.
After hearing so much praise heaped on this game (looking at you, GGGManLives), I finally decided to check it out and I wish I hadn't. Hardly anything worked for me. The levels are very dull, with most of them being the same office building over and over, and corridors set at 90 degree angles like it's still 1992. You can only carry three weapons at once, but then again only three or four are worth carrying. The music is just some barely noticeable buzzing and droning, the enemies are only three or four similar guys, the story only gets in the way of shooting, and the shooting is way too interspersed with wandering around and trying to find out what you're supposed to do next. There were a few good moments, particularly shooting a bunch of guys with a remote-controlled turret, but that only happened twice throughout the game, I think. And contrary to its name, the game is not scary in the slightest, all the attempts at horror fall completely flat. Overall, a really boring experience that I cannot in good conscience recommend to anyone.
