FTL: Advanced Edition

Don't buy this game I do love the game, but a couple of months ago the game stopped working, Now the game will not get past the loading screen.

This game is a great managment game, and I love it because of its space setting. Many other games don't take advantage of future settings or space being used as a place. Get this game now if you love fighting other ships, and if you love space.

Great game, more fun if you accept that you WILL lose. Many, many times. But you will learn to lose better, and maybe win a time or two.

I really loved the game concept. That's what made me buy the game in the first place. Unfortunately, what I expected to be a sort of "Star Trek" simulator, turned out to be a merciless game, where strategical thanking gives way to pure chance. Some of the other reviews here say it all. If you have the bad luck of not finding the proper weapons and the good upgrades in the first stages, you're doomed. And i really mean "bad luck". There's no such thing as thinking ahead or using your brains. If you're lucky you can have a good game. If your luck's not so good, then you'd better restart, for the game will surely crush you. Good concept. Nice graphics. But when playing a game is more an experience in frustration than an enjoyment, then it's time to put it aside and invest your time in a game which rewards you, instead of punishing you because of something as stupid and chaotic as "bad luck". A bad choice for the GOG store.

Can be difficult at first, prepare to die a bit. Game can be modded or expanded for additional content.
