Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition

Character movement is very buggy. Very clumsy walking/running, stutters all the time. It has a lot of imperfections. I am getting a refund, as it is not enjoyable and pretty much unplayable.

Those who played them will know. P.S: skip the DLCs, they're crap.

Worked great for a few hours but after closing the application and reloading a save I was stuck on an infinite load screen that I could not get out of. I restarted my computer and now the game just crashes to desktop at start. In fact now every game through the GOG launcher just crashes at launch. I made sure it wasn't my antivirus software and did a clean reinstall of the game but it still crashes at launch. Absolutely incredible that my brand new PC cannot run a 14 year old game. Thank you Bethesda and GOG for this amazing opportunity! I enjoy having my time wasted while also being pissed so this was perfect<3

They made most things that was needed here, ADS(even if it's bugged), interesting characters and story, and overall good framework for modding it, but modding community is literally garbage can, most of modders pricks that will make fun of you when you show their bugs in mods and literally no good tutorials to learn modding from scratch, without beign champion of galaxy in C++ and similar...

I know this will get downvoted, that's fine. If you love the game, more power to you! I've played Fallout 4, 3 and now New Vegas. (unmodded!) New Vegas is infuriating. Difficulty is not even close to being balanced on Very Hard. Weapon descriptions and VATS lies to you about how much damage you will do. "Dungeon" layouts can be confusing and very reliant on you getting the 1 item from the 1 container and you'll end up backtracking. The "Local Map" is a joke. The story was pretty decent, but I am very dissapointed in how lackluster it is (not to mention it ends your playthrough...) after hearing so much insane praise for it. It was ok. The boss fight at the "end of the road" was an absolute joke. Enemies will just spawn in front of you if you try to use any tactics. I still like the game, but Fallout 3 and 4 both were far better in these regards. Bethesda gets a lot of flak sometimes, but they know how to make a fun GAME with decent or passable story. New Vegas is a frustrating game with decent story. Guess we know what I value more.
