Best of the series
Having played each of the Fallout games to completion, I have to say that New Vegas is the pinnacle of the series. It's the last Fallout game to be an actual RPG, to be packed with skill checks and consequential decisions, in an open world where you are free to be the character you want to be. While the graphics might be showing their age, they're by no means dated enough to ruin the experience. And unlike Fallout 4, you get the distinct feel that it was written for the PC and ported to the console, instead of vice-versa. In addition, each of the DLC add-ons included have enough story and content of their own to be worth a play through. This game is about as good as it gets.
