WASTELANDER! DRM FREE!
Fallout 3. Is it a flawless game? No. Is it a fun game with a ton of content? Hell yeah. Explore the wastes and become a true badass. Really good atmoshpere, but I do suggest you get some mods to add some flare to the game and to remove that awful green tint to everything. Story is bad, but if you make your own story then you have countless hours of fun.

Fun game
Playing this again for about the third time. May finish it this time. Played it when it came out and never finished it. Got side-tracked with some other new games. This time I just finally got really tired of F4 and started this again. For whatever reason I like this about 3 times as much. Add the right mods and it is a lot of fun. If I could only figure out why DCInteriors stutters so much I would be really happy. Doesn't affect the game just the added interiors.

Fallout 3 works fine under Win 10 Prof
Just installed F3 vanilla on my win10prof machine and the game runs perfect. Some players mention, to delete the *.ini file in your home directory if your game crashes at the first start. So just ignore those 'game does not work bla blub', it works just fine :)

Best post-apocalyptic crpg (with mods!)
Had this for years a a DVD+DLC release, and with mods and fixes it is still one of my favourite crpg's. How to get the best from it? I posted this in the forums here and it will link you to fixes and mod advice :) https://www.gog.com/forum/fallout_series/here_are_some_good_fallout_3_modding_sources Easily worth the effort for one of the best games of all time (as long as you mod it!).

Fun wasteland shooter?
Being the fan of Fallout 1-2 and New Vegas, it is not easy to write about Fallout 3, but I will try anyway. Pros - nice soundtrack - the first good looking 3D wasteland - usually multiple solutions for quests - quite stable, no crashes at all, even with mods Cons - writing is from bad to average only - follow up from the previous titles is lousy (Brotherhood-Enclave-Mutants) - the main plot is too generic - the adventure sites lack internal logic. (things like the rich in the middle of nowhere, village with only children, folks living 10m distance from super mutant camps, etc.) Even though I consider New Vegas superior in every possible way, this game is a nice wasteland shooter, which definietly is worthy of a playthrough.
