Amiga version?
How about adding the Amiga version with better gfx to the pack? WinUAE can run it.

Fantastic
Fantastic! It's like meeting an old friend from the past. It was one of my favourite games of the ms-dos era, I played (and re-played) this game from 1990 to 2000, along the other games of the series produced by Microprose, like F-15 Strike Eagle II and F-117 Nighthawk Stealth Fighter 2.0, which are basically the same game, with identical gameplay, with just a different airplane, with them I became a kind of top gun! I played this game yesterday after almost 20 years from my last mission with F-19. The feelings and the memories re-emerged immediately, I had to watch multiple times the Keyboard overlay, but apart from this every function was clear in my mind. I tried a standard mission in Libya, shot down the first objective, an IL-76 AWACS, destroyed the secondary objective, an ammo depot, also destroyed a radar and an oil tanker ship, shot down 11 MIGs, and then I died landing on the aircraft carrier..... I landed too fast and the airplane fell from the ship.... (However, fantastic mission). P.S. The game has a problem if you are using a non-english keyboard layout, it doesn't recognise the two keys to control the Throttle, so you can't use the engine. You must manually edit the config file "dosbox_f19" located into the game folder. Open it with notepad, find the last line : keyboardlayout=auto and change it to keyboardlayout=us103

It's a classic, but VERY elderly
And that brings forth the usual problems of poor graphics and sounds by today's standards. And of course, the disadvantages of running through DOSBox! Would GOG be able to supply an emulated Amiga version? Could be a legal minefield for them, but the Amiga version was by far the most superior. This was of the era when PC ports were much inferior to their Amiga counterparts. The sounds in this port GOG offer are very bad, pretty much beeps and farts only I'm afraid. The use of colour is particularly eye straining as well. The game is a total and utter classic though, a serious waypoint in the history of flight sims! It's worth it for the sheer nostalgia alone - and it's VERY cheap when on sale (I got it for 60p)! Not giving this 5-stars like all the other sheeple on here is probably going to generate some "rage downvoting" from shallow, narrow minded individuals (we'll soon see just how many of those there unfornately are), but 3 is what it is worth IMO! So tough if you don't like that.

great memories relived !
I used to play this back in the day. The PC sounds are very familiar to me, especially the sound when your aircraft is detected by enemy radar. Been playing lately the amiga version and it has little sound effects, so the PC version has that going for it, which is nice

So much nostaligia
I had so much fun playing this on our family computer (386 don't remember the brand. I want to say it was something Like Zeros or something) when I was a kid. I'd spend hours on the weekend. In fact I think I still have the manual and keyboard overlay etc in storage. I still love it.
