Great atmosphere, needs more content
TLDR: I wold give it a 3.5/5, it still needs more quality updates. However, the game's team keeps working on it so hopefully we get more in the future - keep an eye out for this title if you like indie/survival horror type games, but in its current state it is disappointing. THE GOOD: 1). The game itself has an exquisite horror atmosphere for an indie game. It really feels like you're isolated and the graphics + terrain/world design give it an unsettling feeling (alongside the creepy monster that follows you through the game's objectives). 2). It has an enormous potential. The developers could add so much more in future updates (which they will, hopefully on GOG too ,according to the news on Steam) and their ongoing update support is very encouraging. Hopefully they get to polish it well. THE BAD (Yep, there is A LOT of it): 1). I've finished the game from start to end and oh boy, were there too many bugs. Here is a small list of them (this is after the 1.0.1 patch): A) When your battery runs dry you will have to manually re-equip every suit-upgrade to make it work (excluding things that don't need a charge) B) The monsters that follow you can grab you through terrain and objects. C) Resources won't stack automatically.... (lack of feature I guess) D) Zombies sometimes get stuck on the terrain and can't follow you due to dumb AI E) Sometimes bullets collide with an open door (it enters a different plain of existence). 2). There is a very wide lack of content. Only 3 enemy types (one is only spawned in an optional map) and not much to explore or do.... 3). The game play is, well, there. It mostly consists of: "Go there, grab this, shoot bad guys, go to somewhere else and grab that". Not much of survival horror too, everything is within reach and your only "quest/quests" is/are the linear story progression (which is VERY SHORT). SUMMARY: Buy it if you want something short (6-8 hours long), but retain low expectations for a 20$ bug filled game(for now).
