Evoland is a game and a story. The story of action adventure gaming as seen in many popular JRPGs and action RPGs, starting from the very beginning, when a few pixels were enough to make us dream for hours. The nostalgia!

This game not only succeeded in successfully rewarding the you every second you played the game but it also taps into the deep & emotional nostalgic feeling you get from replaying familiar game mechanics of your youth.

Fun

The game is great fun. I've only played it for a few hours, but I feel as if I could easily get hooked. The "evolution" is a funny and interesting mechanic. and the references to other games of the genre is fantastic. And sometimes hilarious. Having to unlock everything is priceless.

I just tried to play with a X360 controller, and it's not working, anyway, 3 stars because the game is still awesome !
